Google has been teasing everyone with their new tool for a while, but now Helpouts is finally here. The product has been available as a private service since August and it’s now making its public debut.
Helpouts lets users get advice and help from experts at any time of the day. There are some 1,000 providers that have been vetted so far, in a range of categories. Thus, you can find people to help you with topics that fall into eight feature categories, such as “Home & Garden,” “Computers & Electronics,” “Health & Counseling,” “Nutrition & Fitness,” “Fashion & Beauty,” “Art & Music,” “Cooking” and “Education.”
So, if you want to learn how to play the guitar, for instance, you can go on Helpouts, see if there’s anyone available at that specific time to give you a lesson, pay up and enjoy the interactive meeting via webcam that will be just like the teacher is right beside you.
This is particularly helpful for those who want to get training from all over the world, at the time they’re available.
